Events by KATHLEEN is one of our most exciting additions. With our Event Planning division, we are now able to help you design your event from conception to completion. You can choose to have us plan it all, coordinate select aspects or just bring us on as the event implementation team. We can customize services to match your event planning needs.

Complete Planning

While we encourage you to be as hands-on, or not, as you like - we will be available to guide, advise and help you navigate through each stage of the wedding planning process.

We will work around your schedule to ensure the wedding planning fits in with work, life and family time.

Our goal is to make wedding planning as efficient as possible for you. We will check availability and pricing with vendors, source suppliers, look over contracts, confirming details and changes with vendors etc.

We will however still look to you for final decisions in hiring your vendors and input on elements that reflect the two of you (i.e. floral choices, wedding colour, decor design, music choices, event flow, and any other personalized touches unique to the two of you).

The first meeting will discuss budget based upon all aspects of your dream wedding day. We will put together an estimate and you can use it as a guide in your decisions on hiring and on spending for your wedding.

With the budget to guide the planning - we only present options that are within the budget and are available on you wedding date.

We will be available to you throughout the planning process through to the implementation of your wedding plans. On-site we will work to put out any potential fires and be the go-to person to act on your behalf so that you can enjoy the wedding of your dreams.

Day-Of Coordination

1 months prior to the wedding we will hold a meeting to better understand the progress made-to-date.

3 weeks prior to the wedding the bride and groom transfers their event schedule, remaining payment schedule and list of vendors and contracts.

1-2 weeks prior all vendors are confirmed and details reiterated to ensure seamless implementation on the day of the wedding.

2-3 days prior it is recommended to hold a rehearsal and our on-site presence will allow the family and wedding party to know who the go-to person will be on the wedding day.

1 day prior all last-minute changes are shared in a final meeting.

Day-of we will act on your behalf to ensure all your planning is implemented as you have planned.

Event Implementation

Wedding day implementation labour is a unique need that couples struggle with - Who will put out the wedding favours? Who will pick up the cake? Who will pick up the wedding flowers? Who can set up the rental chairs?

Hands-on couples that typically have all the details taken care of but lacks the labour force to execute on their plans and do not want to rely on friends and family to "work" for the wedding can turn to our team for help.

3 weeks prior to the wedding the couple presents their needs and proposes the scheduling and provides drawings on set up and take down details.

3 days prior the couple drops off any inventory that needs to be set up on the wedding day.

1 day prior all last minute changes are shared.

Day-of we will provide on-site set up and take down for elements of the wedding required.
